The 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will be held in Beijing from May 28 to June 1, 2020. To promote the extensive exchange and cooperation with China regarding trade in services, the Organizing Committee for CIFTIS sincerely invites you to organize a delegation to attend the event.
Approved by The State Council of China, CIFTIS is a leading fair of trade in services in China, which is co-hosted by Ministry of Commerce of China and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, and is held annually. The World Trade Organization, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development are the permanent supporters of CIFTIS. The Chinese government attaches great importance to CIFTIS and state leaders attended all previous sessions. In the 2019 CIFTIS, President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter, and Vice-premier Hu Chunhua attended the fair to visit the pavilion and deliver a keynote speech.
Through cultivation and development for 8 years, CIFTIS has become a globally influential platform for international trade in services, which spreads ideas, connects supply and demand, shares business opportunities, and promotes development. During the previous CIFTIS sessions, the total exhibition area reached 440,900 square meters, 912 activities were held and more than 10,000 exhibitors were present, over 1,062,000 person-times from more than 180 nations and regions were attracted to visit the fair, 14 foreign dignitaries attended the fair, and the intended signed contracts amounted to USD 529.33 billion. Furthermore, 111 overseas nations and regions organized delegations to exhibit or hold meeting activities, and nearly 300 international organizations and foreign business associations participated. CIFTIS has promoted exchange and cooperation of international trade in services.
We expect you to fully showcase your value in the service industry, organize institutions and enterprises with interest in developing within the Chinese market and seek partners by participating in CIFTIS, the comprehensive platform of trade in services. You can participate by setting up exhibition areas, hold special promotions or special negotiations, and more. The Organizing Committee will invite Chinese provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, professional agencies and enterprises of trade in services to participate, release relevant policies, industry development reports, supply and demand information, and carry out match-makings to promote pragmatic cooperation.
The Organizing Committee provides the support policies for overseas organizers as follows:
In terms of national/regional exhibition area, the Organizing Committee will provide free raw space to set up national/regional exhibition areas;
In terms of special promotion events, the Organizing Committee will provide free conference negotiation rooms and relevant facilities to carry out transaction negotiation and activities accordingly;
As for VIP reception, the Organizing Committee will provide corresponding reception and guarantee services for ministerial guests of overseas delegations for those overseas organizations that set up exhibition areas at CIFTIS.
As for Service Guarantee, the Organizing Committee strives to provide high-quality services to overseas delegations participating in the exhibition from media publicity and customs clearance facilities, etc.
